Generating
the initial "friendly" list:
Depending on the email system you currently use, we can probably pre
populate your employees "friendly" lists with the existing
contents of their email address books. Thereafter, adding or deleting
entries is a relatively trivial task, and one that occurs very infrequently.
SPAMstomper™ requires little to no maintenance after initial setup.
Additional benefits:
A side effect of how SPAMstomper™ functions is that as the business
owner, you can review your employees "friendly" lists and see
every email address or domain that has successfully contacted your employees.
If you see that headhunter@getanewjob.com, propellerhead@hackertools.org,
or other questionable email addresses appear in an employees "friendly" list
that should act as early warning about a potential problem. We can provide
management with various reports.
Depending on your existing email system, we may also be able to show
you how you can capture an archive copy of every email that goes in or
out of your organization, and store them for as long as you want. If
you need such a facility for legal or other reasons, let us know.
Options:
We can configure SPAMstomper™ so that you have redundant email
servers. If one fails for any reason, the other takes over
SPAMstomper™ can be equipped to provide a WEB browser interface
for your email. That allows you to use a WEB browser anywhere in the
world to retrieve your email without setting up an email account on a
foreign computer. You get SSL (Secure Socket Layer) access to your email.
SPAMstomper™ can also become a list manager for tech support email,
discussion groups, etc.
Reporting:
SPAMstomper™ can automatically generate reports to each of your
employees that will provide a synopsis about any email addressed to them
that is trapped inside SPAMstomper™ awaiting confirmation. Each
employee can be sent a single email that lists all the Subject: and From:
fields for each trapped email. This report allows your employees to monitor
what SPAMstomper™ is doing on their behalf and guarantees that
no important emails are missed. Reporting can be turned on, or off per
employee, and can be generated at any defined interval. Reports can also
be sent to a central administrator instead of each individual employee.
SPAMstomper™ can automatically also provide employees with a report
of the changes that have occurred to their "friendly" and/or "nuisance" lists
since the last report was provide. By default, any sender can have him/herself
declared to be a "friendly" by responding to the challenge.
This has the sender do all the work of maintaining the "friendly" list.
This default action can of course be changed to not allow an outsider
to affect the "friendly" list. By reporting on what's changed
in an employees "friendly" list, the employee can override
any entry and possibly move it to the "nuisance" list.
You and Your employees always know and can control
who has access to them via email.
