SECURITY & FIREWALLS

    • are you protected from internal & external threats?

YCC's goal is to help businesses protect their systems from internal and external threats. With the number of security threats increasing, all businesses, regardless of size, should be providing security for their customers, partners and employees.

The largest issue with computer and network security is everyone's attitude that "security is not a problems for me - it's the other guys problem". Since nothing in everyday life provides automatic security, why is it assumed that computers and networks are secure right out of the box? They aren't.

There are many aspects to computer and network security, and this page will investigate them all. Having all of one kind of security, and an insufficient supply of another will still leave your operation vulnerable. If you lock servers in a secure area surrounded by armed guards, but then allow Internet access to them in an insecure fashion, you may have thwarted the most obvious frontal attack, but the servers and your business are by no means secure.
Internet security is needed for any business that:

  • Browses the Web
  • Uses Email
  • Hosts a Web Server
  • Provides remote access to company data
  • Uses eCommerce
  • Uses FTP Services
