Strong Hand Tools Fixtures

These are heavy, robust vises intended for welders; they are designed to take a beating and survive unscathed. The vises guarantee right angle placement and provide an opening to weld the parts together. There are four 2 Axis and one 3 Axis vises.

The four 2 axis units are intended to make rectangular frames where the pieces are placed exactly as they are intended to emerge after welding. When the four sides are done as a unit, any welding heat distortion is counteracted by its neighboring weld resulting in a finished product with negligible distortion. This produces a finished product superior to just using one vise 4 times as the welding heat distortion done that way is not compensated for and actually multiplies the distortion.

The single 3 axis unit is intended to create the corner of a box in X, Y and Z directions. It can be used to weld individual pieces or an already welded completed frame using the 2 axis vises can be inserted on the X, Y plane to then weld the Z vertical.
